The main objective of Chemical Engineering Master's degree programme with Modern and Green Chemical Engineering speciality is to offer a high standard of chemical engineering education with extensive knowledge, skills and competences required in contemporary chemical industry oriented on environmental protection, sustainable development and circular economy.
During studies you will acquire information about designing and conducting green bio- and chemical engineering processes, modern chemical products and materials, renewable energy and raw materials resources, energy-efficient technologies, alternative and enhanced process techniques and elimination of waste generation. You will spend a lot of time in various laboratories and obtain skills related to conducting and controlling bio- and chemical processes, characteristics of materials and products by using of the advanced instrumental analysis methods. Moreover, you will learn active cooperation in international groups, organizing team work and responsibly performing professional and social functions.
Our graduates demonstrate the ability to design chemical engineering processes in the agreement with the modern and green strategies, who are able to independently formulate and solve complex technological problems taking into account environmental, legal, economic and ethical principles. After graduation, you will become a highly qualified specialist who is perfectly prepared to work in many sectors of environmentally friendly chemical industries (sustainable chemicals, catalysts, polymers and biopolymers, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, nanomaterials), environmental control services and also in laboratories and research institutes. You will also be well prepared to continue your education in third degree programs.
